Sole Star is our 2.7% abv ale with a light floral / citrus aroma, gentle caramel notes and a good level of bitterness. It’s brewed with Pale Ale, Crystal, Black and Munich malts and Chinook and Cascade hops. In 500ml bottles only.

Cask (handpump) @ [ London Overground pub crawl ]. Tapping the Admiral, 77 Castle Road, Kentish Town, London, Greater London England NW1 8SU.Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, fruity, grass notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120114]

Cask@The Bleeding Heart, London. Very deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, florl, wooden and mildly yeasty notes as well. Flavour is fruity, floral, wooden, grassy and earthy with mild yeastyness. Brilliant beer considering it being only 2.7 %!

Cask at the Lord Northbrook, Lee, London. Amber pour with a white head. Lemon and grapefruit aroma. Citrus zing. Light bitter flavour. Quite refreshing. Nice for a summers day.

cask at hectors ... copper ... creamy tan head ... soft toffee malt nose ... light sweet malts ... front ... soft bitter hop ... little reminicant of nanny state ... creamy malts ... this is surprisingly drinlable and flavour full ... nice

Sample at Rose Villa. Clear amber pour with off white head. Aroma and flavour of citra hop. Good for the low abv

Sample at rose villa, Birmingham. Creamy white head. Clear amber pour. Nice citrus notes. Very nice despite the low alcohol.

Cask at The Gate, Northwood. An amber coloured pour with a small white head on top. Aroma of caramel and malt. Tastes of caramel, malty, hoppy. Surprisingly good for a 2.7% beer.

Cask gravity @ The Duchess of Cambridge, Stamford Brook W6. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with hitns of caramel. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus finish.

Cask handpull at The Pineapple. Mid to lightish brown colour. No head. Some yeast on aroma. Some malt in mouth touch of caramel and then quite prominent cascade flavour on the finish although not huge bitterness. good hops. Excellent low alcohol beer
