Draft - Ginger and rye bread. Cloudy brown with a frothy head. Light ginger and rye.

On tap at Farmhouse Fest 2018, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of spiciness, with some five spices, and light brett. Flavour is very spicy and earthy, with lots of pine needles. This is just not working for me. Too spicy and vegetal. Strange.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is floral and spice. Medium body, ginger, brett, oak, yeast, dry finish.

Amber and quite gingery, medium body. Really ginger forward. Just a light malt backdrop. The base beer isn’t really knocking me out, but of course I like the ginger.
