Based on the pale, tart beers of Flanders and was made in collaboration with Whitney Burnside of 10 Barrel Brewing back in 2016. The beer spent over 15 months in vintage casks with various yeasts and bacteria slowly developing, ultimately yielding a mature, well aged character with balanced acidity and brettanomyces expression.

375 mL bottle poured, picked up in Portland shortly after the release. Really thought I found an Upright Brew that Berko hadn't, but this task always proves to be harder than expected. Fun beer here. Golden orange pour, lasting fizz head. Tart constant, has a darker fruit hint. Plum like maybe? Citrus? Long oak finish. A really nice sour here.

375ml bottle (thanks, Rob O.!). Pours almost clear pale copper with a white head. Aroma is very fruity (grapes) with barrel notes. Similar taste. One more good sour from Upright.

Mooch tasting
Hazy golden colour. I'm not completely sold on the aroma; next to the funky and vinous notes, there is a strong cheesy and buttery smell, hiding some citrus aroma. Good body strength; the malt base is delicate and appropriate; there is also here that buttery note, some Chardonnay, some nice white grape fruitiness, even a bit of sweetness.
Not very clean but enjoyable.

Bottle - Sour and funky white grape. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Soured grape, funky and a weird funky finish.

Hazy light amber. This has a tiny touch of butyric and yeastiness, dash of brett. On the palate, the touch of brett is the feature, there's some oak, and there's a touch of pale malt.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Nose is funky and complex, with lots of barnyard funk, lots of oak, and a bit of brett. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of oak, barnyard funk, and saison yeast. Complex and well-executed all round. Excellent.
