Tasting at Matt's, can
Amber colour, hazy to cloudy, with medium head. Strong aroma of sweet bourbon, some yeast esters, and vegetables. Smooth body, mild residual sweetness, weaker than one would expect; some malt base, but loaded with bubblegum and American yeast esters, some vegetables, some sweet liquorice, and bourbon.
Very cloying..

Bottle - Caramel, apricot and vanilla barrel notes. Cloudy copper with a small white head. Plum, apricot, sweet caramel and vanilla. Sticky and sweet.

500mL can, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small off-white head. Nose brings out subdued bourbon, with caramel, lots of esters, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with fairly aggressive bourbon notes upfront, Belgian yeast, light esters, and candied sugar. Works surprisingly well - the bourbon accentuates the Belgian yeast character well. Very good.

Can. Thanks, Ferris! Hazy, amber. Not much head. Has a soft, sweet aroma, light phenols with notes of plastic and bubblegum. On the body, soft and honeyed malts, with light bubblegum phenols, a touch of woody tannin. Odd experiment, but it's not half bad.
