Poured from the tap. Clear copper with white head. Chewy caramel biscuit malt with very resinous hops. A little one note, but not bad.

Bottle, found in Parksville, brought back to the continent via Helicopter for safe keeping. It pours with a clearish brown and somewhat beige-ish foam on top; smells of funky cardboard hops and malts. Flavour is plenty more malty hops, good balance, though not spectacular; full enough finish. A very malty IPA, different from the other hoppy disasters of the region which is nice yet not particularily exciting.

Draught @ Tap & Barrel. Old school chewy IPA...malts are clean, quite chewy and a little bit biscuity. Decently made but so chewy/bitter.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy amber color, frothy head. Nice resiny and citrusy hops, quite dry mouthfeel, biscuity malts but not sticky. Balanced.
Very good.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy dark copper orange with a medium beige head. Aroma is on the malty side, with lots of caramel malts, subdued resinous hops and some cloying syrupy notes. Flavour is earthy and sweet, with lots of dirty yeast, caramel malt sweetness, and earthy hops. Too malty, too yeasty and rather sweet. Not a trainwreck, just not a good example of the style.

On tap. Pours a clear copper color with moderate head. Aromas of jammy tropical fruit, sweet malts, and oranges. Flavors follow same with a light bitter piney finish. Best of the lot though pretty much par with other young BC breweries.
