Bottle drank at a Thanksgiving at David's. Pours a clear oily golden hue. Huge legs. Big sweet woody and smoky nose. Super sweet notes. Slick body, sugary, smoky, huge flavors, apple essence. Lovely cider.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor, corked bottle
Amber colour. Delicate aroma of ripe apples. Moderately sweet, touch of tartness and astringency, ripe red apple juice, some alcohol kick.
Very good.

Bottle - Cooked and boozy apple. Almost a calvados note. Clear gold. A bit thin on the palate, boozy apple notes and a long barrel finish. Not a fan.

375 bottle. Pours a clear pinkish copper with no head. Aromas of dried apples, spice, and a little mulled wine. Flavors of apple pie without the pastry, toasty oak, and dry alcohol. Interesting.

375mL bottle, pours a clear copper golden, no head. Aroma is loaded with wonderful peated smoke, decadent syrupy treacle, and caramel apples. Flavour follows through, with a wonderful balance of intense peat smoke and treacle toffee, followed by sweet caramel apple and light brown sugar. Warming, but amazingly unboozy for an 18% cider. This is fantastic.

Light amber. Has some legs. Mix of apple, smoke and alcohol on the aroma. On the palate, this is relatively light, but with quite a bit of alcohol heat. There's some smoky notes, and there's a light alcohol. Despite the strength, doesn't have the richness you'd expect. A lot of barrel on the palate, too, with a ton of woody dryness and tannins. This is fun - quite unusual.
