On tap at the brewery, alternately labelled Blackberry Saison. Has a soft fruit aroma and then the malt comes in later. Has good foam and then a bit of cloudy body. Flavour is a funky mix and the interaction between the blackberry and malt is odd. I would prefer more fruitiness. Dry on the mouth and quite pleasant, but this needs more blackberry to balance it out.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy blond color. The Farmhouse character is timid like in the base Nordic Saison, but this one is drier and less soft, and there is no evidence of oak.
Shy beer, I prefer the Nordic Saison though.

Hazy gold, white head..Light tart fruity nose, boring sweet palate, lacking tartness and yeast profile, their poorest yet

Draft - Barrel and yeasty notes. Cloudy pale gold with a decent white head. Light sweetness, touch of yeasty esters and a light finish.

On tap at East Van, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is subdued and muted, just like the Nordic Saison - earthy and dull. Flavour is somehow even duller, with subdued earthy yeast and biscuity malt. Can't detect any oak whatsoever. Pointless beer.

Pale and light haze. Rather thin head. Limited aroma, just some appley stuff. On the palate, same as Nordic saison, and the oak influence is not all that obvious.
