Oakes' Manor tasting; silver wax
Black color. Pecan maple aroma, chocolate flavor, some smoke, some bacon, some bourbon, but not as complex as the Lawrenceburg (Four Roses) tasted side to side. A bit earthy and oily in the final.

650ml bottle at Josh's on his 20k party. Pours a dark brown. Tgis onr is almost maple syrup with a bit of coffee and no barrel presence. Ok.

Bottle - Wood, dark sugars, coffee and syrup. Jet black with a small beige head. Sweet syrup, raw woodsy notes and a long sweet finish.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with maple syrup upfront, followed by lightly smoked bourbon barrels. Flavour is huge on the maple syrup, with earthy bourbon barrels, vanilla and light alcohol. Loads of maple syrup here to dominate, with bourbon to accentuate subtly. Excellent.

Dark brown. Rich sugary, molasses sweetness. This is really nice – mellow, dextruos, super rich sugars, just a hint of woody roundness. I like this one a lot…really refined.
