A new creation from our Brewers Series, Quinella was conditioned on guava and re-fermented with Brettanomyces. Quinella has tropical fruit notes and finishes dry and crisp. It can enjoyed now or cellared for more Brett funk down the road. This beer was re-fermented in the bottle. Pour gently leaving the yeast sediment behind.

Note: was Secretariat in 2018, but renamed Quinella in 2019.

Pours with excellent foam on a cloudy light orange body, the aroma is nice floral guava and soft saison hints. Flavour is a good mix of saison grain and soft sweet guava. Even mouthfeel. Well balanced, refreshing.

On tap at Farmhouse Fest 2018, pours an opaque bright blonde with tons of sediment and a medium white head. Aroma brings out light guava and light saison yeast. Flavour is a bit obscured, with lots of farmhouse funk, dirty yeast and pithy stone fruits. A bit dirty and lacking depth. Decent.

Draught at Darby's Gastown, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color. Decent Saison base, the aroma hass more character while the flavor is a bit soapy, the guava adds a pleasant fruity touch.
Nice.

Hazy and a dull tan colour. Thin head. Brett comes up in the aroma, floral, and a touch of guava. Lots of guava on the palate. Fizzy, light brett - don’t let this sit around cause it will get over carbonated for sure. Nice balance of the different elements. Just gotta watch that carbo.
