Dark amber brownish colour with a decent sized off-white head. Smells wood, sweet, spicy/herbs. Tastes very sweet, wood and a bit watery. Dry mouthfeel, thin and watery.

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival @ De Molen, Bodegraven. Full creamy off-white head on top of a cloudy brown / red colored beer. Smell sweet, malts, lightly wood. Taste malts, sweet, spices. Sticky texture and a bit dry as well. Average carbo and body.

On tap at BBF ’11. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet oak, rye, malty, caramel, vanilla. Flavour is a lot dryer than expected, rye, plastic, some vanilla, tobacco, roasted grains, bitter. Light bodied.

On tap at KØ-2011 and on tap at Patricks. Dark amber colour with a beige head. aroma is oak, malt, vanilla, fruit, caramel. Flavour is oak, vanilla, caramel, malt, hop, wood, fruit. very nice beer.

Draft @Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a slightly hazy brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty nutty weak vanilla aroma. Fruity malty nutty caramel flavor with hints of vanilla. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with oaky vanilla hints.

Medium beige head. Muddy opaque deep dark brown body. Fruity bubble gum aroma with banana, earth, and chocolate notes. Dry-sweet chocolate and banana taste with earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry-bitter mealy chocolate and plastic aftertaste with chocolate notes. Weird, and not very successful. (0.4l draft at Amundsen, Oslo.)

On tap @ Patricks. Murky brown body with a dense off-white head. Aroma is mild caramel with vanilla, yeast and wood. Flavor is caramel malt, some chocolate, yeast, vanilla and a hint of wooden box. Fine body with a long and tasty finish. Well balanced but not outstanding.

Draught, KØ11. Weak vanilla aroma, slightly sweet. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour has some vanilla, hint of creamy malt. Well-balanced.

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some alcohol as well as wood and some slight earthyness. Flavour is wooden, caramel malty with some sweet notes as well as mild vanillaish notes. Mild sourness as well.
