It's our 2nd birthday! This celebratory bock is inspired by the first lager we ever brewed, the Hop Session Lager. We ramped up the hops and abv on this classic bock, to create our version of a smooth, easy-drinking Northwest bock.

Draught at the brewery
Amber color, a bit dull. The aroma is mild, the flavor is stronger, it has some character of grass, hay, grains, so not properly a bock, and without the body robustness of one.
Drinkable.

Bottle - Hoppy and woody leather notes. Clear copper with a small Waite head. Bitter and woody with some burnt sugars. Very odd.

Golden-brown colour, and slightly bubbly head. Has a firm malt aroma, with a light floral hop note, maybe some citrus. It's got a little crackery accent as well. On the palate, this crackery malt, maybe some dark breadcrust. A touch of diacetyl late...I mean just a touch. Thinking a richer malt character would do this well.

650mL bottle, pours a clear copper amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out floral dry hopping upfront, with some phenols, and vegetal notes. Flavour is more pleasant, with floral dry hopping, biscuity malt, and some grass. Tastes better than it smells. Decent.
