Poured from the tap. Clear copper orange with small white head. Orange and earthy, quite light body. Lacks any depth.

On tap at Ghostfish, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out spicy, earthy notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is very dry and earthy and spicy, with a bone dry, earthy spiciness. Inoffensive but pointless. Meh.

12 oz can. Canned 8/15/16. Damn. Didn’t notice that till now. Pours hazy orange-gold with a giant off-white soapy head that takes its sweet time receding. Aroma is honeysuckle, grain. Taste is lightly bitter, lightly sweet and a bit tart. Not bad at all, especially for being six months old.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy light orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy straw with grass and some earthy citrus. Flavor has earthy straw and light grass with a touch of citrus.

On tap at Lucky Envelope. Pours a cloudy gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is grass and citrus. Medium body, wheat, straw, lemon zest, dry bitter finish, decent.

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours gold with a slight white head. Loved the movie, here’s hoping for the beer. Smells like a fruity pale ale, tho the roasty part is a bit lacking. Nearly med body. Flavor is a bit off. It’s bitter forward, fruity, but then the bitter goes weird. Still, if I had a gluten problem, this would be one of my go to brews. These guys are doing one heck of a job, considering they can’t use barley.

I don’t always drink gluten free beer; but when I do, I prefer Ghostfish. Stay thirsty my friends. Either that or this can was 16 ounces of new tick for less than 2 bucks. Either way. Pours a dense golden color with a foam head. Has a hoppy aroma. Flavor isn’t recognizable as a gluten free beer to me. Has a lot of the make up of a standard pale, and drinks nicely. Doesn’t offend the gluten beer drinker in me at all. Has some orange fruit hints in the late finish. Pretty good.
