On tap. Pours a very dark brown with light head. Aromas of hop resin, grass and oily toasted malts. Flavors of limes, dank piney hops, and more oily roasted malts

Poured from the tap. Dark brown with beige head. Very earthy malt with pine hops and light roast. A little too earthy in my opinion.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is soft malts and little else. Has a dark brown body with a bit of creamy head. Flavour is good chocolate and coffee notes, no idea about the other stuff. Palate is good and crisp, full on the mouth. It's a nice experiment, could be more refined.

An Oxford tasting
Dark brown color. Some earthy malts aroma and hops. Nice rosted malt base, a bit bready, roasted nuts, with nice resiny hops, and some dark chocolate in the final.
Quite good.

Bottle - Dark roast and some light pine. Jet brown with a small light head. Dark piney notes and roast with a nice bitter finish. Solid.

Dark brown. Bubbly head. On the nose, this is toasty, nutty on the nose. On the palate, there's some sweet malts with a touch of bitterness from piney hops. Decent example.

On tap at White Sails, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out pretty restrained notes of toasted malt, barely any hops despite the IBU. Flavour is certainly more punchy in the hop department, with lots of roasted malt and even more astringent piney hops. A bit harsh even for the style, but it works out pretty well nonetheless. Solid.
