Draught at the brewery
Dark color, near black. Mild aroma, roasted malts. Good base, robust, moderately malty; I'm not a big fan of berries and chocolate, but in this case the juiciness and light acidity are well incorporated, although the fruit muted the delicate balance of the Baltic Porter.
Good drink, for cold nights.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with light head. Aromas of acidic nutty chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional sweet cherry juice. Easy to drink, sweet dark beer.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with lightly tart cherries, with medium roasted malt further back. Flavour is quite robust, with heavy tart cherries, medium roasted malt and a hint of earthiness. Nice incorporation of the cherries that sit atop a very sturdy mouthfeel. Not overly complex, but it's a good integration of flavours. Nice stuff.
