Tasting at Matt's
Dark brown color with no head, when pouring it has only some fizzy bubbles. Light aroma, caramel and bourbon. Oily mouthfeel, thin body, stale caramel base, loads of bourbon, and some boozy feeling.
Kind of lame. And this is what you choose to showcase your 5th anniversary?
Go out and try some good local Imperial Stout… sorry, but when you charge 15$ for this bottle you should own it.

Bottle - Dark boozy barrel notes. Jet brown with a small brown head. Dark boozy notes, coconut and dark roast. Sweet, dark and roasty.

Medium brown. There's a lot of bourbon, and a bit of chocolate. This is decent, as it has a massive barrel character, and a blast of alcohol. The chocolate just sort of underpins this. It does come across as a touch thin, but the booziness definitely counteracts this a little bit.

500ml bottle at Matt's. Pours a dark brown with a weak beige head. Aroma is berry-creamy bourbon with roasted malt. Similar tazte with lots of berries notes. Boozy bitterness. Not bad.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a nice smoky bourbon barrel character, with toasted malt and a touch of peat. Flavour is somewhat chalky, with booze, chalk, light smokiness, and muted bourbon. Very boozy and chalky. This isn't convincing - boozy and lacking any depth.
