Ligeramente anaranjada y turbia con poca espuma. Aroma algo dulce y citrico. Carbonatacion media, no mucho cuerpo ni destaca por nada en especial, algo plana, aunque definitivamente entra bien.

Lichtbruin troebel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en lichtbitter met een kruidige smaak. Vreemd om dit een witbier te noemen. Etiket is inmiddels gewijzigd.

One of the commissioned ’donkey beers’, this one by Bavik (now De Brabandere), which had already produced forerunners of it in past years. Cream white, dense moussy, regularly structured foam, ochre blonde colour with peachy hue, hazy. Malty, quite full aroma with only faint wheat sourishness and equally subtle coriander, impressions of straw, pineapple, honey and sulphur. Smooth in the mouth, malt sweet, honeyish with slight wheatiness in the onset and light spiciness, finishing rather sweet and in that sense not as refreshing as a witbier should be. In all: nothing too bad, but not really true to the style. Also tasted under its former alias I(n) A(more).

Bottle. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Malty aroma with notes of citrus and coriander. Light sour hints. Watery. Not really special.

Standard Belgian witbier. It’s not bad, but there are many beers in this style that are way better.
