Las cervezas Stout remontan sus orígenes a las cervezas Porter.
Cervezas Porter fuertes eran muy populares en la década de 1700 y fueron etiquetadas como Stout Porter (Porter Fuerte). Con el tiempo el nombre de Porter fue eliminado para con-vertirse en simplemente Stout.
Milk Stout (también llamada Stout dulce o Stout cremosa). Esta última se caracteriza por tener un empuje final hacia la parte dulce, ya sea por el uso de algunos tipos de malta o por el uso de la lactosa que es un azúcar no fermentable.

355 ml bottle. Murky dark brown/black with a creamy head. Some leather, rubber, roasted malt, citrus. Dry bitterness. Light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonated, dry bitter malty finish.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out cloyingly sweet lactose and candied sugar. Flavour is along the same lines, with subdued lactose and a bit of dry cocoa. Watery and thin. It's okay.

Fiebre de Malta: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is roasty malt and chocolate. Kind of watery body. Weak flavor.

Bottle, Legacy. Medium brown. The main highlight is the bright toasty malt nose, which carries through to the palate. Moderate bitterness. Lightish body - it doesn't really present as a cream stout at all, more like a light porter. Simple, but you can sort of latch onto that bright toastiness and enjoy a bottle or two.

Bottle - Dark roasty chocolate. Jet black with a small beige head. Dark roast, chocolate and a light finish. Nice and light.

Sharp roast aroma and some dark bitter chocolate. Good balance here. Creamy consistency. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Nice stuff, and probably best I had at Graciela.
