Autumn takes on liquid form in this amber beer made with oak-smoked wheat, baking spices, and freshly pressed apple cider. Possibly the greatest spiced beer of all time…

St. Augs. Hazy amber with a medium head. Nose has apple and a touch of smoke. Light smoke on the palate, and some rather fatty malts, as well as a hint of apple towards the finish. Man, I really wanted this to make sense, but it's not not a well-composed beer.

Draft - Baked Apple and cinnamon. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Cooked Apple and cinnamon, smoke is very light and in the background.

On tap at Breakside Brewing, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma of light smoke, cinnamon apples and Halloween / Christmas spices. Flavour of apple, cinnamon spicing, and some pumpkin / nutmeg spices. Not much smoke detectable. The spices are all in balance, creating a unique hybrid. Really enjoyable one.
