Part of the Hop Stars Mixtape Vol. 1, pouring a golden colour, with a bunch of tiny, transparent particles, creating a mild unfiltered-haze, a nice creamyish white cap, good stay and leaving foamy lacing. Some pineapples in the nose with oats, tropical notes, apples and herbal hints. The taste is lightly fruity with a peachy, pineapple touch, yet still not overly sweet, with the oats tart and a tad citrusy. Maybe a little too much oats compared to the hops. Still, a decent, juicy, easy-going Hazy IPA.

Can from the LCBO. Lightly hazed medium amber with a large foamy cream coloured head that leaves stringy lace. Nose has stone fruit, citrus and some herbal notes. Light fruity sweetness with a medium- citrus peel and grass bitterness. Mouth is slightly thin with soft carbonation.

Can says brewed for Merit by Lake of Bays.

Bottle from the brewery. Very juicy, loads of citrus, especially juicy mandarin, and some solid tropical fruit and stone fruit. Medium bitterness, some pithy citrus notes and light grasses with a strong mandarin punch.

A hazed golden ale with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, light sulfur, pleasant and smooth. On tap at brewery.

Draft - Butterscotch, cat pee and fruity citrus notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Creamy citrus, grass and some fruity notes.
