On tap at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a white head. Fairly light nose, some woody pine. Flavour has sharp pine, fibrous grass. Tired. It's okay, definitely a west coast, but lacks the malt body to compete with other flagship IPAs from BC.

Poured from the tap. Clear Amber gold with small white head. Light bread malt, hint of caramel, mild resin hops.

On tap. Pours an amber/orange with a light head. Pretty much bready malts with caramel and fruit plus some resinous hops. Nothing wrong, but nothing distinctive to set it apart from the deluge of IPAs on the market.

Lighter gold body with slight cloud and some fast disappearing head. Lots of oily grapefruit on the nose but little else. Flavour is big oily grapefruit, sour to the core, with meaty juiciness. Oh yeah. A good IPA, better than average for a local but not hitting it into the global category.

This is more of an English Pale Ale than any type of IPA, Hops are very subdued

Hazy and light amber. Fruity and bright. Soft, sweetish, lots of esters. Underhopped.

Draft - Caramel and some light hop notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sweet caramel and a light bitterness. Old school.

On tap at East Van, pours a cloudy orange with a medium beige head. Aroma of subdued resinous hops and sweet bready caramel malt. Flavour is balanced between the resinous hops and caramel malt. Nothing overly spectacular about the hop character, but at least this is balanced and clean.

Hazy to cloudy golden colour. West Coast IPA, modern, with decently expressive hopping.

Improved since the opening: more piney character, strong coriander or spicy yeast too, and no vegetable bitterness.
Good.

Hazy light amber color, creamy head. Sweet aroma, mild fruit, candy, I suspect some butter too. Medium body, the malt base is a bit bready, some light caramel, toasty, undercarbonated (hence it seems a bit too sweet), some orangey and resiny hops, but also some pithy vegetables in the final. Definitively too sweet.
Not a bad beer, but we are in 2017 and on the West Coast, much more is expected from an IPA.
