330 ml bottle, bb 11 Jul 2018.
Dark brown body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of gingerbread indeed, chocolate, cocoa, dark bread, nuts, some dark fruits.
Tastes similar, with some more toast.
mouthfeel, with a carbonation.
Finishes toasty, moderate roasty, spicy, with gingerbread again, bread, cocoa, nuts.
Nice one. Indeed like liquid gingerbread, while not too sweet, with enough toastiness. Not very diverse, but really quaffable. Enjoyable winter beer.

The ginger comes through very intensely, a bit too strong. The malt bill is a little too thin on the body to back up the harshness of the spices. 2017 advent calendar

330ml bottle. Pours an unclear red-brown with a medium, frothy, short lived, beige head that laces. Spicy aroma of wheat malt, light roast, ginger, cinnamon, anise and nutmeg. Sweet, spicy flavour of wheat malt, light roast, bread, caramel, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and light anise with a dry, slightly bitter finish. Light body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Just ok.

Brown color, clean. Earthy aroma of gingerbread spices, caramel. Caramel flavor, a bit bready, with strong ginger and spice mix character, rather dry. A bit metallic in the final.
I give it that it indeed tastes like gingerbread.

Bottle - Ginger and dark molasses. Dark brown with a small beige head. Dark and a touch of toast with some light ginger and molasses. Smells better than it tastes.

Dark brown. No head. Has some gingerbread cookie nose. Light body. Again that same cookieish, gingerbread character. Ends up being ok, interesting anyway.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is extremely spicy, with lots of nutmeg, ginger, less cinnamon and burnt roasted malt. Flavour is quite a bit better, with ginger and nutmeg upfront, with a touch of cinnamon and burnt roasted malt. This is actually not too bad. Nice mix of spices and burnt notes. Solid for what it is.
