On tap at brewery. Pours black with beige nitro head. Aroma is almost imperceptible roasted malt. Flavour has roasted malt, dark chocolate, and coffee. It's fine as a nitro stout, but nothing too special.

Very nice big foam and blacker brown body. Sweet cream coffee on the nose, some roasted barley, little else. Flavour is creamy barley with some smoke, shoe leather. Medium finish. I bet you think this beer is about you, don't you, don't you? Well you're where you should be all of the time and if that's so, drink this porter.

Taster at the brewery. Nitro. Pours an almost black with a beige head. Aroma is some roasted malts. Similar taste. Nothing complex, very straight. Creamy due to the nitro. Easy drinkable. Nothing remarkable, but it may be drank in the huge volumes I suppose.

On tap at East Van, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma reveals lightly roasted malt, a touch of earth and light coffee grounds. Flavour is very mild, with earthy notes, toasted malt and a touch of faded coffee. Clean enough, but lacking any oomph or character. The epitome of a “meh” beer.

Draught at the brewery; nitro
Black color with small head. Mild aroma of roasted malts and cardboard. Quite dry mouthfeel, it seems less soft and more fizzy than most nitro beers, good roasted malt flavor with a touch of dark chocolate, lingering towards a long finish.
Undaring but good.
