07-02-18 // bottle from hopt-shop. Pitch black with a brown head. Loads of bitter chocolate and roasted coffee, dry malty sweet, minimal spicy chili in the end. Bottle shared at Bodney Road, 23/10/2017. Huge thanks to Daniel for this one. Ajet black / brown coloured pour with a halo of dirty tan head. Aroma is sweet, blackened sugars, ashy roast, liquorice, marshmallow. Flavour is composed of ashy roast, black roast, liquorice, apple, boozy black malts, . Palate is chewy, oily, . Lngering black malts.

Backlog rating from BKL 2014: Black licorice, grey head. Chocolate, licorice, pepper nose. Chocolate, chili notes - light burn in the finish.Fullbodied, filling the cavities. Good balance.

@TAB 2017, RIS met chili, van tap zwart met licht kaki kraag. aroma van geroosterd en gebrande mouten,, groene verse chillies. Smaken evenzo, je proeft echt dat het nogal vrij jonge groene chilies zijn, de peper mist je eigenlijk behoorlijk en daarentegen komt het jonge groene vruchten smaak enorm naar voren, jammer had het liever andersom gezien, verder is de basis wel ok, geroosterd, gebrand, chocolade, stevige RIS, romjig, volle body, volgende x echter chilies gebruiken graag. --- Beer merged from original tick of Liquid Confidence / Confidential on 25 May 2018 at 13:49 - Score: 7

Draft at Mikkeller & Friends in Reykjavik. Black pour with a tan, creamy head. Aroma is coffee, chili pepper, brandy, sweaty gym shirt. Taste is bitter with coffee and lots of chili. Body is thick and rich. Like many additive beers it was interesting at first, but as the glass progressed the chili began to wear on me. But still a nice brew.
