Pours a slightly hazy, light golden-yellow, with smallish, fast-dissipating head. Aroma is very grassy, with some green onion, and pine/spruce hops. Flavor has grass, onion, pine/spruce, a touch of citrus. It's a good, simple, straightforward IPA.

Fluffy white head slowly recedes to cover atop a bright, golden, moderately hazy body.
Fresh, juicy, spicy, aromatic hops belie the usual resinous, pine-laced, austerity of Simcoe but instead divulge melon, strawberry and all sorts of lush green dankness. How they got this from Simcoe is a mystery to me. Malts behind are soft, showing a touch of balancing honey-like character while little/no resin nor any alcohol or flaw is noted.
Soft, incredibly juicy, again shocking given this hop, lush greenery in the flavor tastes like sucking on a fresh, juicy hop (despite raw hops certainly not being juicy or enjoyable). Just has a raw, fresh, rustic quality, vegetal and green with plentiful juiciness, even be it quite grapefruit and orange rind-heavy. Tight, immaculate carbonation and a soft, supple, well-attenuated malt body. Obviously he wanted to kick off the commencement of canning with a bang and indeed was it successful.

Hazy blond color. The aroma is nice and hoppy at first, some vegetables later. Light and dry mouthfeel; some crisp malt, resiny hops, too much yeast, and some vegetables.

12 oz. can, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with piney hops, dry biscuity malt, and a touch of floral notes. Piney and dry biscuity finish. Very good IPA.
