Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy gold with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is yeast, ginger, vanilla, lime zest. Slick body, ginger, lime, coconut water, very boozy, good.

Hazy tan, thin head. Massive rum aroma, big massive rum, touch of ginger, sweet. Not sure if it’s well-made but it’s a lot of fun.

On tap at John B Pub, pours a hazy dull golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with rum barrel presence, followed by vanilla and perfume. Flavour is loaded with rum barrels, sort of smelling like a pina colada. Sweet and boozy, but pleasantly so. Very nice.

Draught at John B Pub, Coquitlam
Cloudy golden color. Strong aroma of rum soaked praline, flowery. Full bodied, asweet, a bit oily; the base beer tastes like a cookie, mild, the rum adds a liquor dimension and alcohol warmth. A bit cloying.
Good, but I couldn't drink more than a couple ounces.

On tap at Mongers. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. A huge hot rum nose, almost burns like liquor. More rum in the flavor, spicy, some vanilla, sugars. Light coconut. Solid, but a bit hot.

Sample at beer meets wood last weekend. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a bubbly white head, The nose and flavor of this is straight up rum like someone floated some Bacardi on my beer. Light earthy fruity beer underneath but really alcohol strong.
