Murky reddish pink pour with a slightly pink head. Aroma is obviously a lot of raspberries with a good dose of tartness. Great sour mouth feel, loads of raspberry goodness. One dimensional really, but it’s really quite good. On party with a good Belgian Farmhouse tart fruit beer. Well done.

Cueillette 2022. Pinkish-red, slight haze. No head. Big bright raspberry on the nose. Very tart, lots of raspberry. It finishes with just a little sharpness.

Poured from 750mL bottle (cueillette 2022; 5.4% abv; bottled 05-01-23 bb 05-07-23; thanks Derek & JF). Hazed orangey red with minimal white head. Lots of raspberry, good balance, enjoyable.

Aged Sample; 2017 5.3% Pink head, gone in secs over clear transparant-terra cotta beer, big bubbled. End of bottle solid dregs. Fine raspberry aroma a mile out; reverting to a Boon frambozenlambik aroma from the 80-90's. Aromatic, sourish, lightly tart raspberry flavour; despite its age, fresh and indicating a truckload of fruit. Tart all the way, bit undercarbonated, slight acidthinning. This is like the Boon of yesteryear revisited... but it's no lambic! Excellent. Grand merci à Fred d'A en aan Mathieu!

(750ml 2019 bottle from Gaspesienne 51, Quebec City, Oct 11 2019) Pours nearly clear medium pink with a small whitish head and no lace. Notes of intense fresh crushed raspberries with subtle jammy sweetness and moderate acidity, loads of barnyard funk and hay, some leather, good barrel woody depth, slight berry pip phenol bitterness and astringency but overall very clear expression of raspberry, subtle minerality and crispness in the long lightly tart berry-loaded finish. On the whole the balance is moderate tart and light sweet. Light to medium body with good mouth-filling carbonation. A really nice wild raspberry brew with nice intensity for moderate fruit levels.

500mL bottle, courtesy of sergiy (thanks!), pours a cloudy bright pinkish red with a rapidly dissipating head. Nose is loaded with fresh raspberries upfront, followed by considerable funk and light brett. Flavour is wonderfully complex, with heaps of raspberries, moderate tartness, lots of barnyard funk, and some wild bretty character. Lovely use of raspberries here along with the funk. Excellent.
Earlier Rating: 11/15/2016 Total Score: 4 500mL bottle, pours a deep dark reddish pink with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lovely deep tart raspberries, a touch of sweetness, and a little pith. Flavour is along the same lines, with rich, lightly tart raspberries, a touch of sweetness, a touch of pith, and even a little funk. Super fruity, rich and complex. Excellent.
Earlier Rating: 10/31/2015 Total Score: 3.3 500mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a hazy pinkish ruby red with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavour both of pithy tart raspberries, some light funk and yeast. Not the most complex, but it's clean enough. The oak adds a nice subtle dimension to this. Overall, seems really overrated, but still nice.

500ml bottle (thx, Francis A.!) shared with Farees and Jamey. Bottled on 2017-06-21. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is funky, with lots of raspberries and almost no petroleum like in Cantillon RdG (YES!). Taste is sophisticated raspberries and barrel notes. Very nice. I would prefer this one just a bit sweeter, so maybe if I would have it more fresh it would be almost excellent. Anyways, this one is very good.

500ml bottle (thx, Alex G.). Bottled on 2016-05-17. Pours a dark golden roseish with slightly rose head. Aroma is raspberries and barrel notes, very pleasant. Taste is similar. Good stuff, despite I would prefer more intense raspberries in the flavor.
