Tasting at Matt’s, corked
Red color, hazy to cloudy, with no head. Deep true aroma of raspberries. Good body strength, the acidity is very high but not excessive, the raspberry flavor is strong, the astringency hits very early, rather tannic. The final is quite short though.
Powerful fruity Sour.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep bright reddish color ale with a small pink foamy head with limited retention and some minor carbonation. Aroma of fresh raspberry with light tart notes is quite enticing and reminiscent of Girardin Framboise. Taste is a well-balanced mix between fresh raspberry notes with some tart notes, light acidic notes also apparent with some residual sugar also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. I wish I could have access to this beer on a regular basis.

A burgundy red ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, nice ground cherries with light acidity, light Brett, light lactic, nice and complex. In mouth, a superb tart ground cherries with light acidity, light Brett, good acidity, very nice, refreshing and complex. On tap at IBU 2016.

Produit haut de gamme encore, heureusement pour nous... Comparée à la 2015, je dirais qu’elle a plus de corps et d’effervescence. Les Bretts et le fût de chêne apportent juste ce qu’il faut pour créer cette bombe surette toutes saisons. Si tu n’aimes pas les framboises et le citron, tiens-toi bien loin de celle-ci!!!

Quelle belle arrivée sur le marché (de nos palais) que cette nouvelle brasserie!!! Les produits goûtés pour l’instant sont de qualité irréprochable, Pour celle-ci toutefois, le visuel et la texture en bouche viennent atténuer mon appréciation du produit. À voir les autres notes, j’aurai probablement à (heureusement) y goûter à nouveau afin d’être certain de ne pas avoir erré. En soi, c’est bon et extrêmement bien fait. On goûte les bons fruits et les levures Brett. Selon moi, 1 ou 2 % d’alcool supplémentaires seraient bénéfiques. À suivre...

Bouteille 375ml. Couleur rouge écarlate légèrement voilée, mousse rosée pâle fugace. Arôme de framboise, boisé, légère acidité, terreux. Goût de framboise fraîche, boisé, soupçon de champignon, acidité moyenne, pépin de framboise. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.
