Blend of four 1-yr-old wine barrel aged saisons/wild ales featuring barrel 24 was dosed with a unique strain of brettanomyces isolated from the mystic lees of Pearl Morisette’s 2014 Cuvée Blu.

Three supporting barrels round out the blend but really, it’s all about Barrel 24. Packaged in March 2017.

Tasting at Erik’s
Cloudy blond colour. Controversial feeling, there is a good funky character, but also poop, in the aroma; the flavour is better, juicy, a bit funky, sweet berries, touch of peach.
Very good.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out saison yeast, wild yeast, and oak barrels. Flavour is lightly acidic, with oak, and wild yeast. Complex, with a nice oaky, wild yesty finish. Very good.

There's a light tan note. On the aroma, nice brett funkiness, and a big woody barrel note. On the palate, balanced, woody, nice brett character. This has a really refined, delicious character.

Bottle: Poured a hazy pale yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of floral undertones with some light tart notes with some vinous notes is quite nice. Taste is a great mix of floral undertones with some light tart notes with some vinous notes and light oak presence. Boy is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable beer with nice level of complexities and character.

375ml bottle from The Gull shared with Farees and Jamey. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is very complex, similar to Belgian Lambics, with barrel and fruity notes. Similar complex taste with a very complex aftertaste. This one of the most complex WIld Ales I've ever had at the moment. Incredible!

Bottle - Lots of tropical notes, soured lemon and petroleum complexity. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Very light on the acidity and tons of fruit and funk. Long finish. Very nice, maybe some more acidity to balance but great nonetheless.
