12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Dark brown pour, silky beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasty, chocolate, bitter. Taste follows with coffee bitterness, roasty, dark chocolate. Bitterness lingers for a bit.

On tap pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is sweet chocolate roast malts coffee kick. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate forward notes and a balanced coffee kick.

Courtesy of Sergey, can; 9.9% ABV
Black colour. At first there may be some green pepper, but it quickly fades away; there is some coffee aroma. Good body strength, good chocolate flavour, roasted malt, touch of coffee, all goes well with the moderate sweetness.
Very good.

@ Hopwired. Dark brown without much head. Smells more on the sour and fruity side. Sweet and a little bit tart, fruity, and then bringing currants and chocolate. Better on the palate than the nose.

On tap at Aslan, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with toasted malt, coffee beans and a hint of lactose. Flavour is robust, with lots of espresso and lactose dominating upfront, backed by a moderate roasted malt base. Assertive and wonderfully balanced, despite a fairly high lactose sweetness on the finish.

Draft - Umame meaty notes with some coffee. Deep jet dark brown with a small beige head. Earthy, mushroom and meaty with some nice coffeee notes. Tamarind adds a weird umame note that I personally think doesn’t work. As it warms this gets much better, but still not great.
