Okay clear gold body and reasonably good creamy white head. Smells softly of malt with classic hop hints. Flavour is a nice malt and hop balance, malt forward with chewy hops. Reasonably full and oily on the mouth. A nice IPA that's malt forward, actually not juicy by any standard of the current day.

473 ml can. Pours a dark amber with moderate head. Aromas of pineapples and mashed tropical fruit with a little toasted malts. Flavors of pineapples, sweet toffee, dried fruit, resin and biscuity malts. Grassy finish.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy dull golden color, medium sized head. Some smell of vegetables, soup, some malt, light apricot. Correct body strength, light residual sweetness, pale malt flavor, a bit crackery; balanced bitterness, with light hop resins and sweet oranges.
Drinkable, but not exciting.

Hazy, tan. No head. Muddy, phenolic, Has no particular character you’d want, just a whack of phenol, dull malt, nondescript bitterness. Just totally not what you want in an IPA.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, some light butter and tropical fruitiness. Flavour is puzzling, with earthy hops, feet, and light spiciness. Not a NE IPA at all. Very flat and dull, with low hoppiness. Not good.
