Sample at Hops & Pie during the "GABF Week, CSA Portfolio Tasting" on 10/04/2017. Cloudy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops, vanilla and malt. Medium body with flavors of stone fruit, citrusy hops, vanilla and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity and creamy with a hoppy aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Cloudy blond color. The aroma is fruity, lemony, lightly funky, some oranges. The flavor is mildly sour, orange and lemon juiciness, funky character.

375 mL bottle poured at Chucks. Almanac beers get more and more interesting sounding with each release. Cool bottle. Cloudy golden yellow pour. Peaches up front in the aroma, with a soft vanilla and tart mixed orange fruit. Flavor is also a heavy, true peach pit flavor, with a moderate sourness that doesn't overpower the beer. White grapes throughout. Hints of oak from the barrel maybe. Everything they say it has, and layered nicely. Love the peaches here. Always love peach, especially in beer. Extra especially in sour beer. No exception here. Very good stuff.

Bottle shared by Andrew. Very pale color, hazy and milky. Aroma is piercing with lots of fruits and sourness and tartness. Just straddling the line of too much. One my nose habituates the cool natural fruits come out. Flavor is similar with lots of pear, citrus fruits light but sour.

Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours hazy perry color with transient bubbles. Aroma is sourish mixed fruits - mostly pale stone. Med body or better. It is sour/tart, and it is very pale stone fruit - I'd go for apricots or nectarines - but it's sort of grapey in a sweetish way. So sweet/tart as well as sour/tart. Very interesting and definitely a bit off the usual (if such there is) Almanac road. Quite pleasing.

Bottle - Funky stone fruit and some aspirin. Cloudy yellow gold with a small white head. Soured stone fruit, a touch creamy and a nice finish. Solid.

Bottle. Did you know there's a wine bar in SFO in the United terminal that will sell you Almanac bottles to put in your carry on? Well, there is. Hazy, tan. No head. The aroma has a nice nectarine fruitiness but the grapes also come through as well. Still some yeastiness. Peach/nectarine fruits, moderate lactic sourness and then there's a hit of grapes. These are fruits that not only go well together but go well with the typically lactic Almanac base.
