He is a ruler, an overlord, a top dog, a crowned head. In the realm of all that is tart and sour, Jelly King reigns supreme.

Rather than choosing between sour or hoppy, we decided to create a beer that would be both at the same time. Showcasing the aromatic benefits of a generous dry hop, harnessing the prowess of lactic acidity, and coming to a bottle near you without a pesky slumber in oak, Jelly King is the fermented embodiment of immediate gratification.

This limited edition Jelly King variant was conditioned on loads of pink guava.

Bottle - Very nice fruity guava. Cloudy gold with a small head. Pure guava juice. Not a great beer, but a wonderful alchoholic juice.

500mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with fresh tropical fruits, dry floral hopping and lots of filthy yeast. Flavour is fresh, with tropical fruits, pithy notes, dry floral hops and yeast. A bit muddled, with a nicely fresh tart finish. Very good.

This is cloudy and pale, with a thin head. There's a whack of guava on the nose, and kind of yeasty. A hint of tartness, wheaty character, good balance, as the fruit and wheat are well-integrated, along with the tartness. One of the best of the Jelly Kings, for my money.
