He is a ruler, an overlord, a top dog, a crowned head. In the realm of all that is tart and sour, Jelly King reigns supreme.
Rather than choosing between sour or hoppy, we decided to create a beer that would be both at the same time. Showcasing the aromatic benefits of a generous dry hop, harnessing the prowess of lactic acidity, and coming to a bottle near you without a pesky slumber in oak, Jelly King is the fermented embodiment of immediate gratification.
This limited edition Jelly King variant was conditioned on loads of pink guava.

4 oz pour on draft at Aslin's 3rd anniversary party. Hazy orange with off-white head. Aromas of guava, tropical and stone fruits. Tastes of tart notes, stone fruit, guava, tropical fruit. Medium body with a dry finish. Delicious.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity guava pulp with light lactic notes, light tropical fruits, very nice and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity tropical fruits mix with smooth acidity, light mineral notes, light Epsom salts, very nice and complex. On tap at Lupulus.

(500ml bottle c/o my girlfriend Phyllomedusa) Pours a hazy pale gold with a pink-peach tinge and a tiny bubbly white head with no lace. Aroma is juicy and lightly tart, lots of floral pink guava as you'd expect, a bunch of bitter grapefruit peel, lactic, some sort of other note I really can't place. Flavour is tart, rather juicy, slightly lactic and lightly to moderately bitter. Notes of floral slightly musky pink guava, melon, grapefruit, bitter peels, touch of wheaty malt, yoghurt. More fruit in the finish, lots of bittter citrus and the rind-adjacent part of guava, but not quite as juicy. Rather light bodied, with a bit of a mineral feeling and soft carbonation. A nice rendering of the base Jelly King, the guava works nicely and is not overwhelming. This isn't the newest bottle and, while refridgerated the whole time, has probably faded slightly as well.

My cousins hooked me up with 3 awesome beers from Bellwoods one of my favorite Canadian breweries. This is the: Pink Guava Jelly King 5.6% This is 2 months old now but still smells awesome though I heard it was better fresh which doesn't surprise me. Milky gold with minimal head and a tart guava aroma - yum. Light bodied, acidic and tart but in such a good way. This is guavalicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bouteille 500ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur jaune teintée de rose opaque, mousse blanche. Arôme de goyave en abondance, houblon résineux, agrumes, malt pâle. Goût de goyave, agrumes, houblon résineux, acidité moyenne, amertume moyenne plutôt longue, pointe de malt. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen. Grande buvabilité!
