Dark brown, thin head. Has a nose similar to the base, maybe with more choc if I imagine it. The nibs are quite expressive on the palate however, full and rich, lots of toasted nuttiness. That adds a really positive dimension.

Draft - Chocolate, cocoa, dark roast and some toast. Jet brown with a small beige head. Dark chocolate, nice bitterness and lots of fudge notes. Exactly as described.

Draught at the brewery
Black color. There is something different compared to the base version, more dark chocolate, coffee and roasted nuts, and it distracts from the balance of the base version.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out cocoa nibs upfront, with a touch of vanilla and toasted malt. Flavour is loaded with cocoa nibs upfront, followed by vanilla and a touch of toasted malt. The cocoa nibs are really robust here. I prefer the base beer, but this is solid.
