Bright, amber. Thin head. Looks nice. Has a mellow malty nose. Sweetish, toast, some lighter sugars. Fairly dry for the style. An interesting example. But I'm not sure I actually like it.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a dark chestnut brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of toasted chestnuts, earthy notes and Belgian yeast. Flavour is loaded with earthy notes, with light Belgian yeast and toasted nuts. Earthy and funky. It's decent.

I am assuming is the 2016 version on draft at Chucks Cd. Dubbel my ass. Watery brown burnt malts. Effervescent brown syrup. Lightly sweet. Not tart or wild or sour. A little herbal Earl Grey tea. Tastes like homebrew.
