A true example of American piss lager, it looks like that anyway. Taste is mostly water, with some vague stint of malt and hop.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein hell goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch ganz leicht malzig, getreidig. Geschmack sehr wässrig, minimal malzig, getreidig, ganz leicht herb.

If I could rate a beer as a total 0 this would be it. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. Nothing appetizing, not well made with any thought or craftsmanship about it. Made for those that have given up trying to find anything that might taste better, if you drink this or know someone who does, you or they are a lost cause.

330 ml. bottle @ home. Procured from T he American Food Store comes this highly American beer in a clear bottle & twist-cap. It even has 5! eagles on the bottle, how much more American can something be? BBF 07/02/2014 aka today. Bottled & brewed in the EU actually but I assume that this one tastes 100 % identical to an USA one. Bright sparkling golden, very quickly gone chemical white head. Sweet oily, chemical corn nose, sweetish, faintest inkling of skunk. Tastes like bitter mineral water, oily corn, artificial sweetness in the back, quite a lot of minerals here, odd, starch, potato, sparkling. Very high carb. & mineral feel, lightly oily, oily corn starch. Made with the finest selected cereal according to the bottle. Not as good as Coors Light, I have had worse beers but calling this remotely good would be a huge exaggeration. I could drink large quantities of this which certainly isn’t true for a lot of pale lagers so it has that going on.

Sehr hellgelb im Glas, kaum Schaum. Das Bier ist mild, wässrig. Leichte Getreidenoten, leichte Süße - aber sonst nichts. --> langweiliges Massenbier.

Clear Pale Gold Color, Huge Frothy Head, Surprisingly Lasted and Left Light Strings Of Lacing. Light Skunk and Metallic Aroma. Taste Of Light Skunk, Slightly Metallic, Sweet with Mild Bitter Finish. No Aftertaste. Watery Thin and light cream since I swirl the pint to get all the lace from the glass. Easy Drinker but Bland. Although You could do worse, like a generic version of it, I do not see the attraction that people get drinking it all the time. Every Beer has its place and time. This one works best as a thirst quencher when you are desperate and / or it is free. Also It might work as a reminder to any snobs to count blessings, that if not for the Crafts, this would be one of the few choices that we would have. Pass It...

Clear fucken bottle (not genuinely on draft) offered for free @ casino just now two days ago in Black Hawk, Colorado with Daryl Nielsen while playing video poker after four Heinekens but before three CoronÆ (limeds offered/æccpted), one gin and tonic (Bombay Sapphire), one Cranberry Vodka, one Cabernet, and one Merlot. Clear bottle. Yellow appearance. Fizzy white head. Lemon citrusy. Skunky pale malty. Highly carbonated. Watery. Not as good as Michelob Original or KBBBBS. Closed.

Served very cold. Pale golden and very clear. Aroma and taste as you would expect from any commercial pale lager. Not as bad as its reputation, but a long way to go to be a refreshing and tasteful lager. Aftertaste does not encourage procurement of another bottle.

Notert i glemmeboken.
