First brewed in 2017, this cat-tastic brew really blew us away with its deep gold with moderate haze, and a clean aroma boasts notes of cut grass, orange, and hints of tropical fruit from a Galaxy dry-hop. Chinook and Citra give this DIPA a classic crispy Pacific Northwest hop finish.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold-orange with a large, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of grainy pale malt, peach, orange peel, mild pine and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of caramel malt, peach, mango, orange, grapefruit, pine resin, leafy green hops and a hint of alcohol in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average to soft carbonation. Tasty and well balanced.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy blond color, creamy head. Strong bitterness, but also strong vegetable character. Soapy yeast.
Drinkable, but incredibly clumsy. On a second thought, I wouldn't drink more of this.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy copper golden with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, light resins and biscuity malt. Flavour is very bitter, with floral hops, biscuity malt and extremely bitter pininess. Not anywhere close to Phillips' previous nice IIPAs. Bitter and simplistic.

Bottle - Citrus and candy with a touch of wet grass. Clear gold with a decent frothy white head. Pithy and peel citrus. Bitter.

Brassy golden. Thin, bubbly head. Earthy, leafy, hop nose...not that interesting. But on the palate, the hops are brighter, with some lychee, mandarin and other sweeter hop notes. The malts are crackery with a lot of leafy hops.
