Bomber. Pours a almost pitch black hue with a small white head. A light cocoa and roast nose. Sweet, dark and milk chocolate, light ash, bitterness, ashy, some heavier milk chocolate in the finish. Solid beer.

Bottle from Total Wine, Lynnwood, WA; 9.3% ABV
Among Imperial Stouts, this a bready one, moderately strong, not too malty, definitively not roasty, caramel is the major player.
Not the typical Imperial Stout, but a good beer.

Dark brown. No head. There is some soy sauce and fruity chocolate. Fruity dark chocolate, mostly sweet. It’s a bit harsh in the finish. I’m not vibing, as I feel the harshness of the bitter roast tends to overpower this beer.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of dry oats, light dark cocoa and toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with oats, dark cocoa, and toasted biscuity malt. Dry and rather timid for an impie. Pleasant hearty stout.

Deep brown with thin fizzy bubbles. Roasted malt, cocoa, light booze, earth notes. Thin bodied with fuzzy carbonation. Wouldn’t be so bad if they knocked a few points off the abv. As it stands it’s a mediocre Impy Stout.
