33cl bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. Black beer with thin tan head. Saisony yeast aroma with some chocolate. Yep a decent saison. God I like a saison. Good fullness and not overly roasty. Decent light choc flavours. Good hoppy finish. Moreish beer if you like a saison, which I do.

Bottled (from Ales By Mail). Deep reddish copper colour, mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is cherry, mild farmyard as well as some slight sweet maltyness. Flavour is citrus, some malts, mild earth and a bit yeasty notes. A different twist on a Saison...

Howling Hops Mini Saison Fest. Clear but very dark red beer. Little pale tan head. Light and semi dry palate. Somewhat insipid cherry and super light dark malt. Mildly bitter seltzer minerals. Creamy malt underneath. Finishes dry with a whisper of bubblegum. It’s not a bad beer but just seems a bit insipid.

Keg at the Cock Tavern, London during the Spring Saison Session. Pours rich brown with a small, creamy beige head. Nose holds some yeast, doughy malts, little suggestion of the beer’s darkness. Light to medium sweet, more bready malts, hints of roast in the background, very light tangy fruits. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, light toasted hay bitterness, very subtle toasty bread bit still some dough, yeast. Great stuff overall. Great balance, good depth. Dynamic beer.
