Sockeye Hell-diver Pale Ale 5% After that disappointing Mango IPA I was pleasantly surprised by the fragrant hop aroma from the pale ale. It features citrus, pine and even some fruity tropical notes. Medium bodied, malty sweet with much less hoppiness than the aroma but still pretty balanced. I’d say it’s also on the old side but this is all around a much tastier beer than that mango one... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Sockeye Pub & Grill, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malts and lightly herbal hops. Flavour had a bit of diacetyl and skunky hops, with dry biscuity malt. Things are a bit wrong here. Meh.

Introducing the latest six pack that I killed with absolutely no trouble. Very tasty pale. 12 oz can poured. Pours a light copper color with a lasting foam head. Wet, grassy hop aroma. Hop forward flavor with light orange, and a clean finish. Nicely done. Great sessionable beer here.

Can sample at a tasting at Dror’s place. Thanks Denny. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of "green" hops, slightly oniony, with a stale note. Flavor has a bit of sweetish malt, and bitter hops, slightly "green". Medium-bodied.

Average, but tasty pale ale from Sockeye. Hazy orange amber with medium creamy head. Aroma is very faint hops, taste has sharp hops bite with a metallic finish.

12 oz can from a six pack bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Aroma is doughy, chalky, lemony. Pours hazy orange with a medium off-white collapsing head; leaves a ring of foam and some lace. Taste is better than the aroma let on. It has the right amount of bitterness (which for me is a lot) backed by subdued sweet malt. Citrusy and doughy flavors. Prickly carbonation, medium body. Really nice pale ale.
