The name says it all...a full bodied India Pale Ale brewed for those that take their hops so seriously, they are referred to as ’Hop Heads’. Brewed year round since 1999, HopHead IPA is our Signature beer and was the first ’serious’ IPA to be crafted for wide consumption by a Canadian brewery. Considered risky business for a small Canadian craft brewer at the time, it is now considered to have been ahead of its time by leading the charge into brewing full flavoured IPA’s. Intense hop aroma with a complex malt/hop profile. Snappy bitterness with a very dry finish.
Malt: Pale, Light Munich, Vienna, Crystal
Hops: Perle, Centennial, Cascade, Columbus, Crystal
Initially part of the Raw Series: No.1

lovely aroma. Big citrus, grapefruit, and a slight caramel sweetness. Flavour is so nice, very well balanced between the citrus, and sweetness, and the bitnerness is very very nice. Not too bitter, but just right. excellent IPA.

Orange-gold body with good head. (That’s what she said! Ha!) Malty hop aroma, not too bad, not too expert either. Flavour is soft hops and weak hint of malts. Very subdued, preferred the double better. Give this to your friends at the barbeque and keep the strong one behind the bar for yourself.

This IPA poured a medium amber colour with a soapy, bright white, minimal head. Scents include spruce, grass, light caramel and dough. First swig was very hoppy with flavours of caramel, toast, and full grown spruce trees. Finish is bitter with spruce sap lingering...

Bouteille 330ml.
