One year old Brett Saison barrel-aged on grape pomace from Pearl Morissette’s 2014 Cuvée Blu. Bottled in Dec 2016, has been conditioning for 5 months now. Slightly tart, vinous character, notes of chardonnay & riesling!

Bottle: Poured a nice yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with loads of grapes notes is quite enticing. Taste is a nice mix of grapes with some tart notes, light residual sugar notes with some oak and a light funky finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable saison with right amount of complexity.

Hazy and quite pale. Nice fruity berry notes, touch of yeast and brett, with a light pale malt.

On tap at Farmhouse Fest, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out grape zest, light saison yeast, and earthy notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with grape must, saison yeast and earthy notes. Crisp and nicely constructed. Very good.
