Bottle from Pennine Wine & Cheese Company, Hebden Bridge. Blonde ale, no head. It’s very active in the palate with a carbonation like lager. Sweet nose, sweet taste.

500 ml bottle. Pale yellow/golden body with a small white head. Light aroma of pale malt, yeast, a bit spicy and rubber. Flavor is light malty, grain and fruity with moderate bitterness. A bit thin body and short in aftertaste. Easy to drink and even easier to forget.

50cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy a bit pale yellow color, full sized white head that leaves good lacing. Smell malts, buttery. Taste malts, again butter, light to moderately British hops and decently bitter. Soft carbonation, low to medium body. Decent and easy drinkable.

Bottle. A big, dense, off-white head forms over a slightly unclear golden body. There’s a faint note of anise in the aroma, as well as orange peel, some hay and pale malts. The flavor has a nice bitterness, with pale malts, some flowery notes and a little bit of anise. Full to medium body, nice carbonation. Maybe a bit short finish, but overall, it’s a nice beer. 130202.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Cloudy amber pour with a thin white head. Nothing much in the aroma and with a yeasty bitter floral taste. Nothing special. A poor mans Heineken. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
