A tart German style wheat beer fermented with our house culture of Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus. It pours a bright yellow with a soft, mousse liike head. Aromas of citrus and white pepper lead to flavours of lemon and spice with a subtle brett funk. The finish is a lovely balance of savoury spice and bright acidity, with a medium body.

What are Black Limes you ask? black limes are limes that have been brined and sundried giving a tart, tangy, citrus flavour profile with a musky fermented undertone.

Adjuncts: rye, spelt, black limes, sea salt

On tap at brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with foamy white head. Aroma is quite tart with notes of salt and lime. Flavour is tart, very slightly funky. Long salty finish. Seems like a decent balance between tart and salty, if a bit uninteresting.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy blonde with white head. Mild lime, light tartness, touch of salt. Decent, but like just a tad more flavour to come through. A little bit withheld.

On tap. Pours a hazy amber with light head. Aromas of wet malted wheat. Flavors of same with additional dusty ground pepper, dull limes and sea salt. A bit muddy for a gose

Always up for a gose I says! On tap at the brewery. Foggy yellow and a hint of bleach white head. Huge ginger on the nose, oh wait now that smells like lemon now. Flavour is a lot of salty lime juice, no notion of grains here. Dry finish; thanks salt! Not a bad gose, unique for its use of lime. Good overall.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of citric notes upfront, with light salt and a touch of lacto. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of citric notes upfront from the lime, moderate salt, and a hint of lacto. Too much le for my taste and too little salt. Refreshing nonetheless. It's okay.

Cloudy dull blond color. The aroma is mildly salty and lemony. Mild acidity, salty, with a sharp character from the black lime, a bit soapy in the final.
Nice.
