Bottle from The Gull, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color. The aroma is very nice, it’s dank, piney. Delicate malt, piney hops, a bit too bitter in the final. Very good.

650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of mashed stoned fruit, melons and pithy grapefruit. Flavors of bitter grapefruit, pine, and soft malts. Plastic-y finish.

650mL bottle, pours an opaque cloudy peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, tropical fruity, and tons of pith. Flavour is super pithy, with a very woody and earthy character, bordering on a soil-like character, with lots of pith, orange rinds and dry piney hops. Very pithy, dry and fruity. Very good.

Cloudy but fairly dull. Some yeast, papaya and maybe a touch of diacetyl. So fairly tyipcal for this type of beer. Bitter, with a lot of yeast. Some tannic black tea notes, not as much of the tropical fruit, but still some grapefruit. Diacetyl not present on the palate. Pretty solid.
