Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy brownish golden with white head. Manure and dank tropical hops with some mild weed notes. Something new with a great balance.

Mustabin new, they couldn't find it in the system. Otherwise, lotsa great beers coming out from here in the Lower Mainland. Surprisingly, it's becoming something of a beer destination. In my day, the only beers you'd have available were Coors and Extra Old Stock; so, seeing Terminal City turn into something of a beer connoisseur's paradise is somewhat surprising to say the least. Alas, though, the good old bars of old filled with drunken natives and plastic tables seems to have disappeared; where can one reliably get into a fight anymore in downtown Vancouver? Once upon a time, ordering a draft beer of some suspicion practically guaranteed a smack across the face. Now we have hispters and douchebags like me debating the minor variances between brews from all over the numerous municipalities of the wet coast. Nonetheless this pours a stormy yellow with a little bit of head, some carbonation, a good mastering of the process here if not just a little bit textbook. The aroma is all sorts of hops, pineapple and sour peach and sour citrus and usually the usualy for a craft beer IPA of this disposition. The flavour digs just a little deeper, with not only those tangy hops but also some really ripe and sweet mandarin orange and juicy fruit (it's gonna choose ya!) on the backend. Slightly sweet mouthfeel, plenty of oiliness and that's okay. Fuggles, again, knocks it out of the park with this one. So much great beer in this Vancouver area but I wonder who is drinking it? Aren't all the vegan hippy angry environmentalist weenies fighting against things like enjoying yourself on a friday night? At least, it seemed that way when I fled the town so many years ago. At least you can drink these days, instead of what transpired before.

Doesn’t look like much...dull amber. Very bright aroma - passionfruit, sweet orange, great nose. Bitter, big malt, whack of alcohol in the finish. But that bright, fresh hop just stands out a lot.

2018-02-16, draught at the brewery, 8-5-7-3-15=38
Hazy blond color, generous head. Fruity aroma, including light tropical. Smooth mouthfeel it doesn't feel as strong, the malt is delicate, the hopping is resiny, not as fruity as I remembered.
Very good.

Hazy blond. The aroma is a blend of gentle piney resins, white grapes, light tropical, very light mint. The mouthfeel is distinctively lean and dry, crisp; the hop character expresses supreme quality, more resiny and piney, a bit citrusy.
Different than last year, but equally wonderful.

Last bottle of the batch/season; this is likely more than 3 months old; the lovely aroma of grape and fruit is not so evident, but it still has a penetrating resiny and piney aroma; the mouthfeel is dry, the hop flavor is very piney, a bit dank, resiny.
Still an excellent beer, with moderate signs of age.

Golden color, hazy, with small head. Lovely dank, piney and citrusy hops, crackery malts, from the bottle it also has a Riesling note.
Wonderful.

2017-04-07, draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver, 9-4-8-5-17=43
The aroma is dank, with hint of spicy tobacco. Less carbonated than in other bars, with strong dank hopping, a lot of character. Excellent.

2017-03-30, draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver, 414ml, 9-4-8-4-17=42
The aroma is fruity and dank; the mouthfeel is lean, the hop is strong, resiny, a bit piney, lightly dank.
Cheers Adrian!

Golden color, clean, poured without head. The hops in this beer are very pungent, quite dank and piney, with some manure in the final; the malt base is pale, delicate, almost crisp; the flavor is more powerful than the aroma. Long piney and dank final.
I'll try to have a bottle too.
Excellent.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of stone fruits upfront, with notes of kiwi and melon, along with pith, and biscuity malt. Flavour is wonderfully tropical, with lots of kiwi, stone fruits, resinous and piney hops, and biscuity malt to back. Wonderful complexity to this, with a pithy, tropical fruity finish. This is really excellent.
