Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy pale blond color. It has a very light aroma of straws, almost no malt flavor, almost no yeast character; it’s dry and rather weak. No flaws.
I have no words to describe it, as there is nothing to describe.
I like some good low alcohol beer when properly done; this one is just expensive water.

Slight haze, very pale almost cidery colour. Thin head. Aroma is lightly fruity, estery. Light body, vaguely malty, bit husky, low bitterness, touch of yeastiness. I get the low alc thing; I’m just not into the balance here.

Sample at the taproom. The beer pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a medium thin white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, malt and faint hops. The finish is fruity with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at The Commons, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very dry, with biscuity malt and dry oaky Belgian yeast. Flavour is bone dry and not complex, with loads of biscuity malt and moderate Belgian yeast. Not much going on here, though there is a prominent astringency on the finish. Decent.

On tap at the Commons. Got a bit glass of it. Pours a mostly clear orange yellow color with a large white head. A floral nose, light lemons and dust. A funky bready base, lots of lemon zest. Very flavorful. The ABV makes this so light but it is good.

On tap at the Commons Portland. Pours out a cloudy straw topped with a small head. Nose is grassy grain some rye and a little sweetness. Taste is more of the grain mix a nice spice belg yeast and a nice floral.
