Citrusy Cascade hops and chewy rye and oat malts come together in our modern take on the classic San Francisco "common" lager. It’s smooth and sessionable, and we recommend pairing it with a slice of toasted sourdough (well covered with good-quality marmalade) while you listen to Huey Lewis and The News’ album "Sports."

650ml bottle at Matt’s. Pours a clear golden with a tan head. Aroma is malty with caramel notes, lager-ish. Taste is hoppy bitterness, crispy, caramel notes. Not bad.

Amber, just a little bit of head. The nose is toasty with a touch of rye. Very heavy rye character, with a toasty character. A basic rye amber, touch of dryness, balanced bitterness. But not a whole lot going on other than the rye.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is very earthy, with lots of toasted caramel malts, bready malt, and plenty of earth. Flavour is dominated by the rye, with loads of earth, spicy rye and crusty bread. Real good use of the rye, making this much more interesting than the average boring Cali Common. Very nice stuff.
