33 cl bottle shared by Adam Jackson last night. Aroma of malt, burnt grain, charred malt and licorice. Strong roasted notes. Poured pitch black in color with a tiny dense, brown head that died quickly. Carbonation is low. Tastes just like it smells. Flavor overall is pretty sweet. Texture of this porter is on the oily side. Leaves a oily film on the tongue.

330ml bottle ,batch 300, bought at Ølbutikken in Copenhagen in May this year. Oily pour revealing a huge, bubbly brownish head with good retention and fine lacework to the glass. Jet black body. Aroma of chocolate and cocoa. Gentle confectionery chocolate to the taste buds. The sweetness is downplayed by dark fruits and a vibe of roasted bitterness. Very smooth in the mouth. Excellent Yuletide sipper (Tromsø, 26.12.2012).

330 ml bottle courtesy of Enjoyit. Pours pitch black with a small creamy mocha head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and slightly fruity with roasted malts, raisins, alcohol, cherries in brandy, pumpernickel bread, salty liquorice candy, charred wood, prunes and hints of grass. Taste is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, peppery raw vegetables, resinous wood, dark roast coffee, prunes, raisins, alcohol, figs, rubber, Christmas fruitcake, bitter chocolate, salty liquorice and pine. Mouthfeel is round, creamy, slightly boozy, tiny astringent and medium to full bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, bitter and fruity with roasted malts, salty liquorice, prunes, raisins, resinous wood, black tea, dark roast coffee, moist soil and orange peal.

Bottle with many thanks to Ramy. Pours black with brown head. Nose is fantastic - lots of fudge brownie, smoked chocolate malt, smoked licorice, vanilla, cinnamon, gingerbread christmas cookie and mild spice. Taste follows suit albeit slightly less pronounced. Medium body. Well balanced.

Bottle. Pours black with a big brown head. Nice warming chcolate and spicy aroma. A big brew with a round mouthfeel, sweet (dark fruits and chcolate) and salty (soy sauce)

Bottle. Looks very good! Black with a big brown head. Heavy roasty notes in aroma, and also small notes of licorice, red wine and milk chocolate. Taste is dark and roasted at first. Very chocolaty with some vinousity and a touch of hops in the finish. And coffee!
