Draft - Dar roast, dark chocolate and some graham cracker. Jet black with a rich light brown head. Roast bitterness, molasses and a nice long finish. Solid.

Very dark brown with medium brown head. Looks great. On the nose, it’s toffeeish maybe with a touch of fruitiness. Rich, toffee, burnt fruit, lots of bitterness. The alcohol comes in late. Sticky burnt sugars. Oh wow, this is textbook foreign stout. In a world where brewers constantly misinterpret "foreign stout", this one doesn’t even use the word but they nailed it.

On tap at Luppolo, pours black with a medium light brown head. Aroma brings out notes of cocoa, light roasted malt and a little fudge. Flavour is rich and robust, with lots of roasted malt, some chocolate and alcohol. Fairly boozy for only 7.5%, which takes away from the underlying smoothness. Decent, but harsh.

Draught at the brewery
Pitch black with generous brown head. Aroma of dark malts, biscuits, wood, hint of dark fruits. Smooth mouthfeel, off-dry, nice flavor of mildly roasted malts, wood oven bread, light fruity touch, and more roasted character in the final.
Balanced, fresh. Excellent.
